The tour start from Florence at 09,00 am by Minivan to reach Monteriggioni in 1 hour drive. In Moteriggioni start the walking tour for about 20 km. walk down white streets of the Sienese mountain towards Cerbaia, an ancient Medieval village that is abandoned today. Walk through the brush heading for the castles of Chiocciola and Villa, before going down the riverbed of Pian del Lago. Then go through the wood of Renai before reaching Porta Camollia, a traditional Francigeno access to Siena. The route, quite short and easy, is made hard by the total shortage of water and road-house. You will reach Siena in about 4,30 H.In Siena you will meet again your guide/driver for a short visit of the city: The Cathedral, The Piazza del Campo and the Museum of Santa Maria della Scala, the first hospital for Pilgrims since 1090.The tour ends with the return by minivan to Florence
