Further information
Enjoy a walking tour accompanied by an expert local guide and go to the discovery of one of the most beautiful cities in Puglia.
Bari hides some authentic treasures and ancient traditions. We will then head towards the Castle, one of the main symbols of the city.
We will walk through the narrowest streets of the city to discover one of the most deeply rooted traditions of all time: the preparation of pasta in the street! A group of doc Baresi ladies, in fact, will sit at the entrance of their homes to knead the infamous orecchiette. We will then have the opportunity to see how they are produced and there will be the opportunity to buy fresh orecchiette for those who want it.
You will reach the Cathedral of San Sabino and the Basilica of San Nicola which still today preserves the bones of the saint.
You will then admire the two most important squares of Bari, Piazza Mercantile and Piazza Ferrarese, with their typical restaurants and shops.
One last tip: bring your camera with you!
