Starting from Piazza XX Settembre we will visit Martina Franca, one of the most important towns in the Itria Valley.
This beautiful city is famous for its festival and the many buildings in Baroque and Rococo style.
After admiring this square, we will cross Porta Santo Stefano to enter Piazza Roma, where we will be able to observe the beautiful fountain of the Dolphins and the Palazzo Ducale, a historic building characterized by eighteenth-century frescoes.
Walking through the narrow streets of the historic center we will reach Piazza del Plebiscito, where we will see the Basilica of San Martino, a majestic example of Baroque architectureFrom here, we will also know the University Palace and the Clock Tower, two of the main points of interest in the Apulian town.
After visiting Piazza dell'Immacolata, the Chapel of San Nicola dei Greci and the Church of San Domenico, we will conclude our tour.One last tip: bring your camera with you!
